About

Straight Outta Lynwood was originally intended for release on 27 July, however, Atlantic Records denied Yankovic the right to release his James Blunt parody, You're Pitiful. Yankovic went back to the studio, recorded two more songs, and released the album on 26 September. It became his most successful album to date, and White & Nerdy his most successful single.
