Steve Albini is an American Indie Rock Singes and as a producer, Steve has recorded nearly 1,000 albums for various underground rock bands in the 1980s and 1990s. He also released solo album entitled, Italia.

Steve Albini was born on July 22, 1962 at Pasadena, California to, "Giana Albini" and "Frank Albini", a well-known scientiest and an authority on the mathematical modeling of forest fires. He studied in Northwestern University in Illinois and while a student at the said university, Steve formed two bands called, "Small Irregular Pieces of Aluminum" and "Stations". Steve formed the group called, Big Black in 1981. The group released two albums entitled, "Atomizer" in 1986 and "Songs About Fucking" in 1987. On the eve of the released of their second album, the group decided to part ways and concentrate on their other crafts. In 1988, he formed the group, Rapeman. The group disbanded after the released of their album. He formed another band called Shellac in 1992. The group released several albums like, "An Action Park", "Terraform" in 1998 and "Excellent Italian Greyhound" in 2007. Steve also released a solo album entitled, Italia in that same year.
