Stephen Marley is the son of the legendary musician Bob Marley who ros to fame via his debut album, Mind Control.

Stephen Marley was born on April 20, 1972 in Wilmington, Delaware. He was a former member of the group, Melody Makers together with his siblings namely, Ziggy, Cedella and Sharon. At the early age of 10, he already performed live at the 1982 Jamaica World Music Festival in Montego Bay. He also recorded a single entitled, "Children Playing in The Street" with his brother Ziggy, which was a charity single with the profits going to the United Nations to aid its efforts during the International Year of The Child. Stephen was also responsible for the production of the 3 albums of his brother, Damian Marley. His debut album, Mind Control was released last March 2007.
