About

Jeremy Camp's first album was released September 2002 under BEC Recordings. It's composed of twelve tracks, six of which landed on top spots. It also gave Camp several awards in the Contemporary Christian Music scene, although the album gained notice and popularity two or three years after its release.

Known to Camp fans, this album involves his reflections concerning the early death of his first wife Melissa. The songs in the album are personal and very encouraging, which makes Stay an artsy, rocking, and inspiring debut from Jeremy Camp.

Reviews

Stay can be classified under the mainstream rock kind, but its edge is in its lyrical content. The message of the songs points to having an unchanging faith despite any adversity, which serves as an encouragement to those struggling and broken. It's a solid pop/rock project with solid spiritual substance. -- jamie 05:27, 10 January 2007 (PST)
