About

Her second album, entitled "Stacie Orrico" was released internationally in March of 2003 and was released at a later date in the UK under her new label, Virgin Records. As expected by her fans all over the world, her heavenly high-pitched voice backs up intelligently awakening lyrics that came from Stacie herself.

"There's gotta be more to life,
than chasing out ever temporary high
                     to satisfy me..."
                     --Stacie Orrico

Lyrics such as this speaks of Stacie's mission in the world--that is to move the people in this earth by means of her lyrics. This album is filled with such songs that received admiration from people in all walks of life. Her singles "Stuck" and "(There's Gotta Be) More To Life" and other singles as well became instant hits. A single released only in Japan entitled "Instead" were also accepted and approved of by her fans.

Reviews

  • She did not only grow up in her physical appearance, the Stacie I heard several years ago was quite different to the Stacie featured in this album. Her lyrics talks about life in general and I commend her for that. Unlike other albums that concentrated on just one angle like the lyrics or the beat only, this album mixes the spiritually awakening lyrics and a beat that catches every listener's attention. My personal favorite is (There's Gotta Be) More To Life because of its catchy tone and meaty lyrics. I also like the music video. Hurray for Stacie for a job well done!
