St. John is an American rapper who rose to fame on what is known as the underground mixtape circuit.

About
Rapper St. John was born as Jonathan Futrell Aikens on October 4, 1985 in Petersburg, Virginia. Influenced early on by his father who was the first African American DJ on the radio in Petersburg, St. John began rapping at the tender age of 7. After high school he tapped into the mixtape circuit and gained notoriety for his witty lyricism and candid verses. With his uncanny song writing ability and his effortless way of penning lyrics he knew his dreams of becoming one of raps most promising artist wasn't a fairy tale. Citing Jay-Z as one his biggest influences he took the Hov approach and started his own record label. In 2006 he linked up with childhood friend Scoop and started the record company known as Lycan Enterprises.
