[edit] About

Formed in 1990, Splendor was the idea of guitarist/singer/songwriter, Waymon Boone and bassist, James Cruz. To complete the line-up, they've chose Marc Slutsky to be their drummer and Jonathan Svec as their lead guitarist.

They've opened for acts such as the nu-metal band, Korn while embarking on a European tour. Their patience and hardwork paid off when they were given a recording contract from Columbia Records then on 1999, released their major debut album, Halfway Down the Sky where two of its single entered the Billboard chart.

After the success of their debut album, they were signed to J Records and soon released their sophomore effort, To Whom It May Concern. Unfortunately, after releasing their second album, Splendor disbanded to concentrate on their personal projects. Lead vocalist, Waymon Boone started another band from California, Headrush where their debut album Weight of the Water, produced, written, recorded and engineered by Boone, will be released soon.
