Sparkle and Fade is the second studio album of American alternative rock band Everclear. This is their first release exclusively with Capitol Records.

Sparkle and Fade is an album by Everclear, released on May 23, 1995 by Capitol Records.

The first single of the album is "Heroin Girl" which is about lead singer, Art Alexakis' girlfriend overdosing on heroin and also about the death of his brother due to heroin. The single charted at #34 in the U.S. Modern Rock Tracks. The second single "Santa Monica" put Everclear on the map charting at #5 in the same chart. The song is also about Alexakis' attempting to commit suicide when he was living in Santa Monica, California.

The next two singles, "Heartspark Dollarsign" and "You Make Me Feel Like A Whore" have moderate mainstream success. Both singles did not do well in the charts.
