Soul Sista was released on November 13, 2001 under MCA records. The album ranked no.33 on Billboard 200 and no.5 on R&B chart. The first single in the album "Used To Love" ranked no.65 on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart. The second single "Nothing In This World" featuring Avant hit no.27 on the US Hot 100 chart and no.4 on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart. The second single became a big hit.
