Skye Sweetnam is a Canadian pop/rock singer who rose to fame via the hit song "Billy S." which featured in the soundtrack of the movie of Mandy Moore How To Deal.

Skye Sweetnam was born on May 5, 1988 at Bolton, Ontario to Deidre and Greg Sweetnam. Skye was named after the Isle of Skye in Scotland.

When she was young, she studied singing and dancing. When she was in her early teens, she begone to composed songs and recording demo with the help of a local Bolton music school. Skye took up her college in Mayfield Arts School in Brampton, Ontario, majoring in drama.

She had worked with local producer James Robertson. Together, they worked the production of the album of Skye. Skye' single "Billy S." was featured on the soundtrack of the movie of Mandy Moore How To Deal.

Skye became an opening act of Britney Spears on her concert tours. Her debut album was released on September 21, 2004 under Capitol Records. In 2006, Skye was nominated in Juno Award for New Artist of the Year. Her second album Sound Soldier was due to be released in April 4, 2007.
