The album was released on March 27, 2006 by Interscope Records. The album debuted at #11 on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and sold 56,000 copies on its first week. It features the single, "Gold Lion" which chartered at #14 on the US Modern Rock Charts.
In 2006, the album was named the second best album of the year by "NME magazine".
