Shivaree is an Alternative rock band led by the lead singer Ambrosia Parsley. The band has produced four studio albums selling more than 500,000 copies worldwide.

About
Alternative rock Shivaree is a trio formed in 1999 by Ambrosia Parsley (vocalist), Danny McGough (keyboard), and Duke McVinnie (guitarist). Frontman, Ambrosia left her home at the young age of 13 year old and traveled to pursue her career in music. That is when she met Duke. Danny heard Ambrosia at a party and befriended her. Thus, Shivaree was born. The name is derived from the word in the biography in Jesse James found by Ambrosia.
In 1999, the trio didn’t waste anytime and started recording their debut album, I Oughtta Give You a Shot in the Head for Making Me Live in This Dump. It quickly received attention. After the release, they went on the road and performed. In 2002, Shivaree issued Rough Dreams. It was followed by Who’s Got Trouble? Two years later which was another success. In 2007, Tainted Love: Mating Calls & Fight Songs appeared in record bars. It featured other artists like Michael Jackson and R. Kelly.
