Scotty Emerick is an American Country Music Singer and a songwriter. He composed of the hit songs of Toby Keith. He also released his album, The Coast is Clear.

About
Scotty Emerick was born on June 11, 1973 at Hollywood, Florida. At the age of 6, he started to play guitar and almost immediately was performing at family gatherings. At the age of 11, he plays Moose Lodges and VFW Halls. In high school, he started writing his own songs. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in firefighter school. At the age of 19, he moved to Nashville. He had only been in town about six months, working at the Spaghetti Factory restaurant. He befriended "Bryan White" and started writing songs together. The two had composed songs for, Sawyer Brown including Sawyer's hit singles, "Round Here" and "She's Gettin' There".
In 1997, Scotty met Toby Keith. After meeting at a jam session backstage at the 1997 CMA awards, Toby ask Scott to wrote a song for him. The two have enjoyed a phenomenal collaboration over five albums of Toby. Among this hit singles he wrote for Toby are "I Love This Bar" and "Whiskey Girl". Scotty wrote nine songs for Toby's album, Honkytonk University and ten songs for the album, White Trash With Money. Scott's debut album, The Coast is Clear was released in October 2003 under Dreamworks.
