Sarah Blasko is a female Australian singer which is known as one of the most intriguing solo artists in the music scene. She has been nominated several time in the Australian Recording scene.

Sarah Blasko was born on September 26, 1976 in Sydney, Australia. Her first performance was in church with her mother. The music that she makes are inspired from the radio during the 80’s. During high school she was a part of a jazz and blues band along with her sister but later on disbanded.
In 2002, she ventured on a solo career. Blasko released her debut album independently. The single “Your Way” was a hit. She handed out a demo to Brisbane label who eventually offered her a contract. In 2004, The Overture And Underscore was issued. Aussie fans became a huge listener to the young singer. In 2005, Blasko arrived in the U.S. releasing her follow-up album, What The Sea Wants, The Sea Will Have. It was released in her home town the following year where it went straight to #7 on the ARIA Chart.
