Sammy Kaye is an American Vocal Artist and Conductor who rose to fame via his single, "Tell Me You Love Me".

Sammy Kaye or "Samuel Zarnocay, Jr." in real life was born on March 13, 1910 at Lakewood, Ohio. In 1927, he graduated at Rocky River High School. He took up college in Ohio University in Athens. He used to be a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. He organized his first dance band while in college, eventually opening the College Inn, featuring his orchestra. He led his own orchestra in the early 30's at Statler Hotel in Cleveland. He also performed at different hotels in New York and was featured in his own radio program. His radio program moved to television during the 1950s. He released several singles like "Tell Me You Love Me", "Dance of Mexico", and "Wanderin". He continued to released albums until the 60's. Sammy died in June 2, 1987 due to Cancer. In 1992, he was posthumously inducted into the Big Band and Jazz Hall of Fame.
