About
R&B singer Sammie Bush loved music since the day he came out from his mother. His mother took singing as a profession and sang at church choirs while he was still in her belly. At the age of four years old, he performed "Troubles Don't Last Always" at his church applauded by everyone. Sammie never thought of being a singer but he was always caught singing by his teachers. Charles Drew Elementary saw Sammie's talent and started training him. Later, Sammie formed a group called the Wonder 3 along with two of his friends. Sammie's teacher recorded their performance and sent it to a a television show, Showtime at the Apollo. The tape landed them an audition. In 1998, Sammie landed his first solo audition. Producer Joyce Irby called Sammie and his mother. In 2000, Sammie released his debut album, From The Bottom To The Top, under Capitol Records. After his debut album nothing was heard from Sammie but in 2006, his self-titled follow-up album was issued under Rowdy Label
