One of the hottest band in late 90's and early 2000. The band produced hits after hits of chart topping singles. They even had a single for the Children in Need Campaign which were all chart-toppers. Unfortunately, the band disbanded 2 years after a band member Paul Cattermole decided to join the band of his school friends.

About
The band came into attention through their television series. The programme was a sitcom based around the band members living together and tring to become famous. The sitcom changed it's name depending on the location of the set: Miami 7, LA 7, Hollywood 7 and Viva S Club (set in Spain). Every episode, the members would perform one of the songs in their current album.
Toward the end of the first season in June 1999, the group released their debut single, Bring it All Back, for their debut album S Club (album) which topped th UK charts. After their debut single, they released other singles which are chart toppers as well. The second season, LA 7, begin airing on March 2000 it includes the song Reach for their second album 7. After 2 months, the single was released and reached #2 in the UK charts. The band was invited to provide the official song of the UK's BBC Children in Need Campaign 2000 and so a new song, the ballad Never Had A Dream Come True was chosen.
In March 2001, the group's male members were arrested in London after being found with a small amount of cannabis. With this arrest, the group's public profile boosted in the run-up to the single's release. The 3 band members were cautioned by police at Charing Cross Police Station but released without any charges against them.
For quite some time, there's no release of any single from the group. The next single to be released was supposed to be You which will coincide with their 3rd season series Hollywood 7, but they were again invited to be involved in the Children in need Campaign, so a ballad felt more appropriate. Hence, the next single was the Jo-led Have You Ever. The single topped the UK charts and acted as an introduction to their third album Sunshine.
In 2002 however, the band's Paul Cattermole announced that we was leaving the band and joining a nu-metal band formed by his school friends. The 6 members stayed together with the name S Club (band) and released another album Seeing Double in late 2002. The group then released their movie Seeing Double in 2003. With the film's release, rumors that the group were about to split started. After a short time, the group actually split when they annnounced that after their final single and the greatest hits album, S Club would indeed break up.
