Rush is a Canadian rock band. Since the release of the band's self-titled debut album in 1974, Rush has become known for the instrumental virtuosity of its members, complex compositions. One of their best albums ever is Vapor Trails.

In 1968 Geddy Lee, Alex Lesson and John Rutsey formed a band which they called Rush. They performed in several clubs. In 1973 Rush released their first album Not Fade Away. John left the group and he was replaced by Neil Peart.
In the year 1975, Rush signed a recording contract under Mercury Records, which re-released their debut album. Rush continued to released big selling album throughout the 80's and 90's. In mid-90's, The decided to take a break. The band concentrated in their solo and side projects. In 2002, the group came back via their album Vapor Trails, which was one of their best albums ever.
