About
Runa Los Atta was formed in September 2005. Michael Hilden and Aaron Weeks decided to have a band together, and got friend Alex Coles to be the drummer, although none of them had instruments. The name was decided upon on September 11th 2005, when Aaron and Michael were deciding on a name, and Michael typed random letters with turned out to be Runa Los Atta.
In April 2006, they released the internet exclusive EP, Jimmy Valentine: The Man From The Lower Regions. Later that year, in June, they filmed a live video of them playing The Arctic Monkeys song I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor.
In September 2006, during the band's one year anniversary, they recorded and released the four song EP Cpt. Fidget's Chemically Altered Jam Band. This was followed by a demo EP recorded in May 2007 that was intended for promotional purposes but was never released to any one outside of the band, save for one copy.
September 2007 was a good time for the band. They released their first album that was in production for six months, Runa Los Atta Goes To Tickle School. The album was well recieved by anyone who has heard it, and demand for the album extended across to Texas.
