Another remarkable effort of a then unknown singer/songwriter who made a fan base touring and handing out demos. This sophomore album of John Mayer boosts even more of his amazing guitar work and lyrical music.

About

After the underdog succes of Inside Wants Out, Mayer released Room for Squares two years after his debut album. This CD is more closer to his heart since he quims about his "quarter-life crisis", even when questioning his young life, Mayer's doubts come off glib; not one second of "Why Georgia" convinces that "the stirring in my soul" keeps the artiste awake at night.

Room for Squares was re-released in Dual-Disc form in 2005. This includes an exclusive DVD featuring:

  • Entire album in 5.1 Surround Sound
  • The Grammy Award-winning hit "Your Body is a Wonderland"
  • "This Will All Make Perfect Sense Someday," a 41-minute exclusive documentary about the album, beginning just as John is about to sign to contract and continuing for the next two years. The film features a brand new interview with John reflecting on that time in his career.
  • Never-before-seen footage including John's home movies, in-studio recordings, live and acoustic performances, behind-the-scenes, on-the-road and backstage clips.
