Rich Boy is an upcoming Hip-Hop Star who rose to fame via his self-titled debut album released last 2007.

Rich Boy or "Maurice Richards" in real life was born in Mobile, Alabama. Rich took up Mechanical Engineering at at Tuskegee University. However, he decided not to continue his study to concentrate more on his music career. Rich used to play drums in their church. Rich was spotted by Polow Da Don when he sent his few demo. Polow already produced albums to, Ludacris, Jamie Foxx and Fergie. He signed a recording contract under Zone 4 Records. His self-titled debut album was released in 2007. It debuted at $3 on The Billboard 200 Albums Chart and as of this time, the album has sold, over 500,000 copies. The album features the single, "Throw Some D's".
