[edit] About

Remy Shand was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on 1978 to Jeremy Shand and Ana Olsson. At a young age, he learned to play the bass and the guitar and was mainly influenced by her father who sings soul music. And while in high school, his parents encouraged him to create music projects where she spent a lot of time in basement doing sample records.

At 19, he sent a demo copy of his record to Steve Warden which later on became his manager. And by luck, Universal signed him to Motown in the United States. Likewise, Motown releaed his debut album "The Way I Feel" on 2002 that won a Juno Award on 2003.

Currently, Shand is recording his second album which will soon be out.
