Rasheeda is a female rap artist. She was a former member of the group Da Kaperz. She is considered to be one of the good looking female hip-hop rapper in the industry.

About

Early Life

Rasheeda Bashir was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a member of an all girl trio called Da Kaperz. In 1998, the trio released an album. After only one album, Da Kaperz disbanded.

Solo Career

Rasheeda instantlt got the attention of Motown Records. In 2001, she released her solo-debut album, Dirty South with the hit single, “Do It (Do Da Damn Thang)”, featuring Pastor Troy. The following year, Rasheeda released her sophomore album, A Ghetto Dream, which was not a success.

The young artist was included on a single with Petey Pablo. Rasheeda switched record label (D-Lo Entertainment/ Imperial Records). In 2006, she released her third album, GA Peach. A lot of things are going on in her life right now, hosting and singing. But music is still her first love. Rasheeda is currently working on her upcoming album, Dat Type Of Girl, which will be released mid-2007.
