About
Rammstein was formed in 1994 in East Germany by Oliver Reidel, Christoph Scheneider and Richard Kruspe. They recruited Till Lindermann to become their head vocalist. They entered a contest for new bands and won. After winning the contest, Paul H. Landers and Christian Lorenz joined the band. The band had released a total of 5 studio albums form 1995 to 2005 which includes, Herzelaid, Sehnsucht, Mutter, Reise, Reise and Rosenrot. They also released two live albums and one compilation album. The band has been nominated two times in Grammy Awards as Best Metal Performance.
