[edit] About

Rah Digga (Rashia Fisher) was born on December 18, 1972 in Newark, New Jersey. She was a previous member of a hip hop group by Busta Rhymes called Flipmode Squad. Rah Digga graduated as salutatorian at a private school in Maryland. During college, she went to New Jersey Institute Of Technology studying electrical engineering. Rah Digga got her break after performing at Lyricist Lounge at New York when Quest's Q-Tip saw her talent and hooked her up with Elektra Records.

When Rah Digga joined Busta Rhymes's Flipmode Squad her deal with Elektra Records didn't come throught but fortunately she signed in with Flipmode Entertainment. In 1998, the Flipmode Squad released their album, The Imperial Album. After the release she worked with producers DJ Premier and Pete Rock for a solo project. In 2000, her solo debut-album Dirty Harriet was issued. The release was delayed since Digga switched record labels to Koch Records. In 2004, a follow-up album was released, Everything Is A Story.
