Poison was released on 1990 under MCA records. The album peaked no.5 on the Billboard chart. The only hit song in the album "Poison" hit no.1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles & Tracks chart and no.3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The single became one of the most successful singles in the 90's. The song was featured in the film Pootie Tang, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Scrubs, and some videogames 2004's Grand Theft Auto.
