[edit] About

Pop rock band Plain White T's began on 1997 in Villa Park, Illinois. Tom Higgenson (vocals) became interested in drums and was involved in different bands during his high school years. He met Ken Fletcher (bass) in one of the bands that he joined. When the band separated, Higgenson took charge and recruited Dave Tirio (drums) forming the Plain White T’s. They started playing gigs in local clubs. In 1999, Higgenson almost died due to a car accident that made his songwriting more interesting which resulted to the band gaining more popularity.

In 2001, the band released Come On Over. In 2002, they issued Stop under Fearless Records followed by All That We Needed in 2005. During the tour, the band had conflicts with their line-up. The new line-up was Higgenson and Tirio (vocals), De’Mar Hamilton (drums), Tim Lopez (guitar) and Mike Retondo (bass). After the release of the third album, Plain White T’s went on an extensive tour.

[edit] Reviews

Plain White T's is very refreshing compared to the other bands played on the radio. They have catchy melodies that makes you listen twice to the songs. This band could be the next rock legend. -Mimi 12:10, 31 July 2007 (PST)
