Peter Andre is the first ever Australian solo artist to debut at No.1 in the UK with his album, Natural. He entered the mainstream with his hit single, Gimme Little Sign.

About
Peter James Andrea was born in Harrow London, England on February 27, 1973 to Greek-Cypriot parents Savvas and Thea. He has four brothers and one sister and is the youngest of the Andre clan.
Peter lived in London and attended Sudbury Junior School 'til the age of six and emigrated to Queensland, Australia with his parents and siblings. There, he and his siblings attended Benowa High School.
At thirteen, together with his brother Chris, Peter composed his first song entitled Dream A Little that later appeared on his self-titled album. Chris also stood as his manager during the early years of his Australian career.
At sixteen, Peter joined Australia's talent show called New Faces in 1990 and performed Bobby Brown's Don't Be Cruel, not only did he win but he was offered a recording contract live on air by one of the judges, Molly Meldrum.
At nineteen, he had his first hit in Australia with Gimme Little Sign and was honored with having had the highest-selling record of the decade.
At twenty-three, he became the special guest performer of both Madonna & Bobby Brown concert tours and later on return to the UK to continue writing and recording songs for a wider market.
His first UK album, Natural debuted at number 1 followed by several hits which eventually led him to tour throughout the UK, Asia, Europe and Australia.
In 1997, Peter had achieved his dream of performing a sold-out concert at Wembley Arena.
During the 90s, Peter became UK's 6th highest-selling solo artist grossing for over 20 million pounds CDs and merchandise sold aside from being voted as Best Australian Artist at the World Music Awards in Monaco.
