Permission To Land was released on August 05, 2003 under Atlantic records. The album reached no.1 on the UK chart, no.17 on the Australian chart, no.36 on the US chart and no.62 on the France chart. The first single in the album "Get Your Hands off My Woman" reached no.43 on the UK Singles Chart. The song was written by the lead vocalist Justin Hawkins. The second single "Growing on Me" hit no.40 on the US Mainstream Rock chart and no.2 on the UK Singles Chart. The third single "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" hit no.2 on the UK Singles Chart. The song was also no.497 on The 500 Greatest Songs Since You Were Born on Blender magazine.
