Paul Weller is a English singer, songwriter who formed a band called The Jam and The Style Council. He rose to fame as a solo artist via his debut album, Stanley Road.

Paul Weller was born on May 25, 1958 at Woking, Surray. He joined the music industry 1n 1977 being the founder of the band called The Jam with his friends, Steve Brooks, Rick Buckler and Bruce Foxtone. The band had released their hit albums and singles until they were disbanded in 1982.


Paul formed a new band called, The Style Council in 1983 and was disbanded in 1989. Paul concentrated on his solo career in 1991. He released his debut album, Stanley Road in 1995. From their, he released more hit albums. His latest album was Hit Parade, which was released in 2006.
