About
Dj/rapper Paul Wall (Paul Slayton) was born on March 30, 1980 in Houston, Texas. When Wall started in the music business he teamed up with the Northwest side of Houston. They promoted artists and labels (Cash Money and The New No Limit). Wall also had a gift of mixing tapes in the chopped style and screwed style.
The young rapper signed in with Swishahouse Records, he later then switched to Paid in Full Records. Paul Wall, Chamillionaire and Jon Higgins worked together and released Get Ya Mind Correct. Rivalry slowly started to arouse and soon broke up. Paul Wall returned to his old label, Swishahouse Records. He was given the oppurtunity to work with Mike Jone's "Still Tippin'". In 2005, he released his debut album, The Peoples Champ. In Wall's personal life, he married Crystal Slayton. She gave birth to their first child, William "Fat" Patrick Slayton, on April 18, 2006.
In 2005, He started a business called Grills, and online store that sold jewelry such as silver, gold, or platinum caps and diamond inlays. His business was influenced by Nelly's track "Grillz". The busy rapper is expected to release his follow-up album Get Money, Stay True on 2007.

Reviews
Paul Wall's lyrics doesn't have a good analogy. He is just one of the new rappers that came out in the music industry who is just rated average. He has great beats but when he raps the single comes out bad. Paul Wall is a better businessman than a rapper. --Mimi 08:55, 15 February 2007 (PST)
