Patience is a 2004 album of half English, half Greek Cypriot singer-songwriter George Michael. The album debuted at number one spot on the UK Album Chart and number two spot in Australian Album Chart.

Released on March 22, 2004 by Sony Music, the was self produced by George Michael. The album spawned six singles. The single "Freeek!" performed well in Europe making it at number one in Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Denmark. "Freek!" made 22 charts around the world.

The next single released was "Shoot the Dog" which proved to be highly controversial, is all about George W. Bush and Tony Blair in the lead up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The album was never released in the U.S. However still managed to reach the top 5 in Portugal, Spain, Italy and Denmark. Another single, "Amazing" also went to number 1 in Italy, Spain and Portugal and topped the world airplay chart for 20 March 2004. The song reached number 4 in the UK and number 6 in Australia and the song made 22 different charts as well similar with "Freek!".

The other three singles of the album were: Flawless (Go to the City)", "Round Here", "John And Elvis Are Dead" which was released online only.

  • "Shoot the Dog" was highly controversial because of the video where it showed cartoon version of Michael astride a nuclear missle in the middle east and Tony and Cherie Blair in bed with George Bush. The single was not released as a single in the US over sensitivity to the September 11, 2001 attacks.
