P. Grimy was born on january 27, 1981 in a small town in South Carolina called Bennettsville. At the age of eight, he picked up a pen and pad and started writing his first song. Thats when him and his family realized he had a gift. He wasn't trying to persue a career in music until 2003. He was serving in the army. His unit was deployed to Iraq at the time. He won several freestyle contest so he started taking it seriously. He joined a label called ALL GAME ENT. when he was in Oklahoma. It wasn't progressing fast enough for him so he started his own label called Stay Drunk Records. They put out a compalation album. Right after the release of the album, Grimy had got orders to go to Hawaii. When he got there, he decided to recruit more people such as: CWELL, UNKNOWN, J HUSSLE, TRINNY, NUTTY, J PAUL, ALIEUS, MENICE, S&P, and MIKE D. They performed several times in several different clubs in hawaii. P. Grimy currently have a CD out called Back In Da Lab. He is currently in Iraq again working on his second album called Still Grinding.
