P. Diddy is and American Grammy-winning entertainer, record producer, actor and rapper. He owns a recording company called Bad Boy Records. One of his successful albums released was No Way Out.

P. Diddy or Sean John Combs in real life was born on November 4, 1969 at Harlem to Melvin and Janice Combs. P.Diddy was also known before as Diddy, Puff Daddy, Sean John, Puff, Puffy and Bad Boy. Sean was raised in Mount Vernon. When P.Diddy was only two years old, his father was shot dead after his father attending a party.
In 1987, He graduated high school in Roman Catholic Mount Saint Michael Academy in Bronx. He attended his college degree in Howard University in Washington, D.C. before he became an intern of Uptown Records. A few months later, Sean became an A&R executive. He help producing the albums of Father MC in 1990, Mary J. Blige in 1992, Blunk Funk in 1992 and Heavy D & The Boyz. Sean was fired by Uptown in 1993.
Sean builds his own recording company called Bad Boy Records'. He signed up Craig Mack and The Notorious B.I.G.. Craig and Biggie released their hit singles at once afther they signed in Sean's recording company. At that time, P.Diddy was known as Puff Duddy. He included Faith Evans, 112 and Total in his recording company. He also produced some albums of Mariah Carey, TLC, Boyz II Men, Lil' Kim, SMW and Aretha Franklin among others.
In 1997, The Notorious B.I.G. was murdered by unidentified persons. In that same year, Puff released his single Can't Nobody Hold Me Down followed by I'll Be Missing You. Both singles were a hit. In 1998, Puff and his lablemates called The Family released No Way Out. The album produced hit singles such as It's All About The Benjamins. In 1999, Puff is know as Puffy and was accused of assaulting Steve Stoute of Interscope Records.
In the later part of 1999, Puffy with his girlfriend that time, Jennifer Lopez were at Club New York at Manhattan when a gunshot broke out. After a thoroughly investigation by the police, Puffy and a fellow rapper, Shyne was arrested for weapon violations and other charges. Puffy found himself in court on numerous civil charges. One was from a girl who claimed to have been mentally scarred at a party ten years before, and another was for sampling a phone conversation without permission. Through the help of his lawyer, Puffy was soon acquitted of all charges relating to the shooting incident. Jennifer has also broke up with him. With this controversies happen, Puffy changed his name to P.Diddy.
P. Diddy tried to have a good image but once again accused of assaulting a Michigan television host and was arrested again for driving without licensed. In spite of his problems, he managed to release his gospel album, Thank You. P. Diddy also began working with Britney Spears and N'Sync.
His problems did not stop; Arista Records stopped distributing Bad Boy releases. His recording artist Faith Evans and 112 left the recording outfit. In 2003, he joined the New York City Marathon and raised money for the educational system for the children of New York.
P. Diddy is one of the most entrepreneurial musicians in the industry. In 2002, he was featured at Fortune Magazines as one of the 40 Richest People Under the age of 40. His business, an urban clothing line named Sean John has been nominated for the prestigious Council of Fashion designers of America.
In 2006, Sean received an honor as reward for certain charitable work at the Chicago City Hall. He also owns two restaurants called Justin's which named after his son. It is located in New York and Atlanta. Sean is also the designer of the green Dallas Mavericks alternate jersey.
