[edit] About

[edit] Formation

It was on 1989 that the group was formed among three men from Queens, New York where they released their first ever single together under Profile Records, "Ah, and We Do It Like This". The single did not create much success for the group.

Two years after, on 1991, fate struck when they are about to present a live demo performance to Jam Master Jay of Def Jam. Unfortunately, Big DS and Sonee Seeza was travelling in Connecticut. Hence, Fredo Starr decided to contact his cousin Sticky Fingaz to present the demo with him. Once Fingaz became a member of the group, they released and EP on 1992 entitled "Throw Ya Gunz". The EP impressed the Def Jam executive and immediately inked them a deal to released their debut album Bacdafucup on 1993. The album was commercially successful and took only one month to be certified platinum.

[edit] Controversy

Due to their sticky and raunchy live performances, Sticky was arrested for assault on flight and was denied to perform a half time show in one of the football games.

In the next two years, a lot has changed Big DS was no longer a member of the band and was rumored to be in jail. Many fans thought that the group vanished instantly with just a single album. Not unitl 1995, where they released their second album All We Got Iz Us. Though it was clearly less successful than their debut, many fans declared this as their best album.
