About

This 2002 release by fresh and young band Simple Plan under Lava/Warner was not an instant big hit. It was only in the year 2003 that the fans have finally noticed the fun music and lyrics when Addicted was played constantly in the airwaves and landed top spots in three charts. The song's music video can also be seen in music video channels because of insistent public demand.

The band's rant about teenage life that's put into more acceptable terms in their songs gained the admiration of many fans in the said age group. Other songs such as Perfect and I'm Just A Kid received a fair amount of exposure both in the radio and TV.

Reviews

  • Being an adolescent isn't easy and that does not hold back the band from making great music. The band speaks of the struggles of the people in this stage and simply have fun while whining. If you're up late studying for a test, you'd find this record very helpful since it would wake up your nerves and boost your confidence knowing that you're not alone experiencing hardships in this stage of your life. -Vheliefish 18:55, 21 October 2006 (PDT)
