Dido's debut album No Angel, was produced by Dido with the help of other contributors including Rollo and was released in mid 1999. The album has already spawned hits such as "Here With Me" which has been chosen as the theme song of the hit show Roswell. Another single "Thank You" which appeared on the soundtrack of the Gwyneth Paltrow film, Sliding Doors.

About
No Angel album was released on June 1, 1999 under Arista Records. It's first hit single "Here With Me", was chosen as the title music to the hit TV series Roswell. Due to record company conflicts, the album was released in the U.S. first in 1999. In December 2000, a month ahead of its official U.K. release, No Angel went top 10 in the U.K. a month later it hit #1 when it was officially released as a special edition, featuring the videos to "Here With Me" and "Thank You". "Here With Me" was later released in February 2001, as a commercial single, and reached #4 on the official U.K. singles chart it also went top ten in Portugal and Greece, top 40 in France, America, and New Zealand. The album's second single "Thank You", was a huge radio airplay success, and reached #3 in the U.K. singles charts and #1 in Brazil. The third single, "Hunter", went top twenty on the World Adult Chart and the U.K. singles charts, while achieving top ten success in Portugal and Greece. "My Lover's Gone" reached the top of the charts in Brazil, where it was in the soundtrack of a famous soap opera, while "Don't Think of Me" made the U.S. Adult Contemporary top 40.
The album won the prize for Best Album at the 2002 Brit awards, where Dido also won the Best British Female award. In 2006, the album was certified 3× Platinum in Switzerland, meaning it sold over 100,000 copies there.
