About
Born Domenica Costa or simply Nikka Costa was born on June 4, 1972 in Tokyo, Japan. She is the daughter of Don Costa, the famous producer and arranger of Paul Anka, Tony Bennett and Dinah Washington and she is also the goddaughter of no less than Frank Sinatra! At the age of 5, her first musical performance was at the opening for Don Ho. After two years, she performed in front of 300,000 policemen in Chile. When she was seven years old, she performed a song entitled, "On My Own" on a Don Costa Orchestra in Milan. As a child, she has already released several albums throughout Europe, Israel, Central and South America, most of them were Certified Platinum.
In 1996, she released her first album, Butterfly Rocket under Mushroom Records. After around 5 years of silence, she released her sophomore album, Everybody Got Their Something in May 22, 2001 under Virgin Records which also features her biggest hit single also entitled "Everybody Got Their Something". Her third album, Can't Never Did Something was released on May 24, 2005.
