Nevermind is the second album of the highly influential grunge band Nirvana.

About

Nevermind achieved much success than their other albums. It has helped the band to become a worldwide phenomenon overnight. The first single off the album, Smells Like Teen Spirit topped the charts.


It sold more than 13 million copies in the US alone, with a total of 24 million copies worldwide. It went certified gold on October 28, 1991 and continued until it went diamond in 1995. It was also included in the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time by the The Rolling Stone.

  • The baby who appeared on the Nirvana album cover Nevermind was Spencer Elden. His parents were friends of the photographer and were paid $200 for the picture. He recreated the image on the 10th anniversary for Rolling Stone magazine
