Neil Finn is known as the member of the band Split Enz. He is one of the famous singer and songwriter from New Zealand. He has two solo albums namely Try Whistling This and One Nil.

About
Neil Mullane Finn was born on May 27, 1958 in Te Awamutu, New Zealand. As a child he did his acts with family friends and brother, Tim. He learned how to play the piano and started playng his favorite Beatles songs. In the 70's, Finn was greatly influenced by Elton John, Neil Young, David Bowie, and Cat Stevens. He also started learning ways how to survive the music industry through his brother's band, Split Enz. Finn started doing his solo act playing the piano, guitar or mandolin. In 1976, he performed his own music with drummer Mark Hough and guitarist Geoff Chunn. When Split Enz's Phil Judd separated from the band, Tim recruited Neil the slot and became the lead guitarist.
In 1985, when Split Enz disbanded Neil started his own band with drummer Paul Hester, guitarist Craig Hooper and bassist Nick Seymour . Changing from name to name like: Mullanes and the Largest Living Things. They worked together for ten years gaining international success. In 1996, Neil quit from the band to pursue his solo career. In 1997, Finn started writing music in his New Zealand home. In 1998, his solo debut album, Try Whistling This, was issued. Finn contributed the single "Can You Hear Us?", a commendation to the All Blacks. In 2001 his follow-up album, One Nil, was released followed by Seven Worlds Collide, a live album on 2002.
