About
Nathaniel Dawayne Hale also known as Nate Dogg was born on August 19, 1969 in Long Beach California. As a child he began singing at a church choir where his father was the pastor called the New Hope Trinity. At the age of 16 years old, Nate dropped out of high school. In 1991, his uncle, Snoop Dogg and Warren G formed a rap group called 213.
In 1992, Nate Dogg made his debut on Dr. Dre's album, The Chronic. In 1993, he signed with Death Row Records. Releasing his debut hit single, "Regulate" featuring Warren G. His debut album, G-Funk Classics, Vol. 1: Ghetto Preacher was under Breakaway Records. It was released in July 21, 1998. Two years later, his sophomore album, Prodigal Son, was released under KTR Records. In 2001, he released his third album, Music & Me under Elektra Records. The trio, 214, released an album in 2004. At the same year, Nate Dogg released fourth album, Nate Dogg (album), under Elektra Records.
