Myra or "Mayra Carol Ambria Quintana" in real life was born on May 21, 1986 in California. Her career started in 2001 after singing the single, "Dancing in The Street" which was featured in the soundtrack of Recess: School's Out. She signed a recording contract under EMI Records in 1995. Her self-titled debut album was released in 2001. The album chartered at #47 on the Top Heatseekers Albums Chart.
