Mr. Lif

Mr. Lif is an American Hip-Hop rapper and a former member of the hip-hop group The Perceptionists. He released his first debut album I Phantom under Definitive Jux Label.

About
Mr. Lif (Jeffrey Haynes) was born on 1977 in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Lif was in college for two years but left to focus on his music career. In 1998, he released his debut single, “Elektro” which impressed both Def Jux Label and Grand Royal. Mr. Lif signed in with Def Jux Label. In 2000, Mr. Lif released “Enters the Colossus. He toured and released a live album.
In 2002, he released two concept album, The Emergency Rations and I Phantom. In 2005, Mr. Lif worked with producer Fakts One which led to the Perceptionists. The following year, he released his follow-up album, Mo’ Mega.
