[edit] About

Metal band Motograter began in Santa Barbara, California on 1995. The name came from a home-made percussion/springed instrument. They were originally a tribal group who experimented with hardcore. The line-up is Ghost as vocalist , Smur on drums/samples, Crispy on drums and vocals and Nuke as guitarist. In 2002, they landed a contract with Elektra Records. In 2003, the band released their self-titled debut album. It got them a slot at the Ozzfest. The album did not make it to the expected record sales that gave them a foggy future. In 2004, Motograter was on tour but there was poor planning and no promotions which led them to cancel the tour. The band soon learned that Elektra Records had no future plans on working on their second album. They had another poorly promoted tour with Kittie and followed by a self-financed tour with Dope which forced them to leave their trademark body paint. In 2005, Motograter decided to start on some solo projects.

[edit] Reviews

Motograter knows how to balance the singing and yelling. They know how to make the song fresh. The combination of the drums and guitar stands out. -Mimi 05:30, 29 July 2007 (PST)
