Mindy McCready is an American Country Music artist who rose to fame via her debut album, Ten Thousand Angels.

Mindy McCready or Melinda Gayle McCready in real life was born on November 30, 1975 at Fort Myers, Florida. Mindy began performing at the age of 3. She graduated high school at the age of 16 with honors.
After graduating from high school, she took a part-time job at in her mother's ambulance company and starting her career. At the age of 18, she transferred to Nashville. She started to give her demo tapes. She signed a recording contract under BNA Records.
Mindy released her debut album, Ten Thousand Angels in 1996. After six months, the album went gold. The album produced two hit singles such as Ten Thousand Angels and Guys Do It All The Time. Her follow up album, If I Don't Stay The Night produced three hit singles, What If I Do, Other Side of The Kiss and You'll Never Know.
She signed a recording contract under Capitol Records in 2002. Her first album under that label was not a hit. After a year, Capitol Records dropped Mindy from the company. Just recently, Mindy appeared in Oprah Winprey Show and told Oprah her problem with domestic abuse, depression and drugs.
