About

With a mixture of Black, Indian, Japanese and Native American, Mila J began rapping at the age of 4. Music is in her blood due to her father was a studio musician.

Her big break occured at the age of 9 when she met TUG's CEO and President Chris Stokes through her younger sister's appearance in an Immature video.

Eventually, Chris Stokes became interested in her after seeing her appeared in Prince's Diamond & Pearls video in 1991.

Then on, Stokes hired Mila J and she started to dance for the group Immature between the ages 12 and 15.

Several years later, Stokes decided to launch Mila J as a solo artist by releasing two charting singles namely Complete and Good Lookin' Out in 2006. Followed by a much anticipated debut album called Split Personality in November 2006.
