Michael Bolton is an American singer/songwriter and a multi-awarded soft-rock balladeer has an overwhelming acheivement including more than 50 million copies of albums sold. Not only is he a musician, he is also credited in his charitable contributions receiving awards such as Lewis Hine Award, Martin Luther King Award and Ellis Island Medal of Honor.

About
Born Michael Bolotin on February 26, 1954 to parents George and Helen Bolotin in New Haven, Connecticut. He started his singing career under his name Michael Bolotin but it turned out to be unsuccessful. He returned as Michael Bolton in 1983 where on April of the same year, he released his eponymous album. The album reached the Top 100 best sellers . Following his self-titled album, Everybody's Crazy became a commercial failure.
During his singing career, he has released 19 albums including the albums he released under his real name. In between his carrer, he has written and co-written songs for famous artists such as Barbra Streisand, Bob Dylan, Celine Dion, BabyFace and other high profiled artists. Aside from being a famous singer/songwriter, he also put up his own charity on 1993 named after him (Michael Bolton Charities) which concentrates on women and children under emotional, sexual and physical abuse and poverty.
His latest album, Bolton Swings Sinatra features her girlfriend/fiance Nicollette Sheridan. Recently, Michael Bolton went on tour in South Africa as a headline for Life's Greatest Weekend Out concert.
