Matchbox Twenty is a boyband from Orlando, Florida. The members of are Rob Thomas, Brian Yale, Paul Doucette, and Kyle Cook. The band has sold 39 millions albums across the world.

About

Rob Thomas, Brian Yale and Paul Doucette were members of a band called Tabitha's Secret. The band was formed in 1995 in Orlando, Florida, U.S. When the band moved on their separate ways they met Kyle Cook and Adam Gaynor and formed a pop rock band called Matchbox Twenty. In 1996, Matchbox Twenty released their debut album Yourself Or Someone Like You. Their singles, "Long Day", "Push", "3 A.M", "Real World" and "Back 2 Good" was on the Top 40 hit singles from 1997 to 1998. In 2000, the band released their second album, Mad Season. Singles from the album includes "Bent' and "If You're Gone". Both singles were a smash hit. In 2003, the band's third album was released named as More Than You Think You Are. The singles, "Disease", "Bright Lights" and "Unwell", were #1 for 20 weeks in 2003. In 2005, guitarist, Adam Gaynor, left the group and Rob Thomas pursued a solo career. The band would get back together and record their fourth album.
