Mario Vazquez is a Puerto Rican American Singer. He rose to fame when he audition at American Idol fourth season but despite being an early favorites, he quit the show for personal reasons. His first single Gallery was released on May 2, 2006.

About

Mario Vazquez was born on June 15, 1977 at The Bronx, New York. He studied in La Guardia High School of Performing Arts. He also joined the City Kids Reportoire Company in New York which enabled him to travel the country and perform infront of the President and at major charitable function and shelters.

Mario auditioned at the fourth season of American Idol. He was able to make it into the final round of twelve contestants, but despite being an early favorite, he quit the show for undisclosed "personal reasons". He was replaced by Nikko Smith.

The day after the winner of the fourth season Carrie Underwood was announced, Mario had an auditioned in Clive Davis studios. Clive was impressed with his performance and immediately Mario signed a record deal with Arista Records.

Mario's first single Gallery written by Ne-Yo was released on May 2, 2006 which made it to Top 40. His self-titled album was released on September 26, 2006.
