Maria McKee is an American Country Singer and a the builder of famous band, Lone Justice. She rose to fame as a solo artist on her self-titled debut album.

About
Maria McKee or "Maria Louise McKee" was born on August 17, 1964 in Los Angeles, California. She attended in She attended high school in Beverly Hills High School who would eventually drop out to concentrate in forming local band. Maria saw "Ryan Hedgecock" while performing at a concert held in the parking lot of a drive-in theater. She was so impressed and called Ryan the next day. She and Ryan decided to formed a local band which they name it to, Lone Justice in 1982. The band includes "Marvin Etzioni" on bass, "Don Heffington" on drums, and "Tony Gilkyson" on guitar. They performed as a band from 1983 until 1985. They also released two albums under Geffen Records.
In 1989, Maria went to solo and released her debut self-titled album under Geffen Records. It features the single, "I've Forgotten What It Was in You (That Put the Need in Me)" which chartered #2 on US Modern Rock. Her biggest album, You Gotta Sin to Get Saved was released in 1993. It features her own composition, ""If Love Is a Red Dress (Hang Me in Rags)". Her third album, Life is Sweet was released in 1996. After that, Maria took a hiatus from recording for 8 years. In 2003, she released her comeback album, High Dive. Her first live album, Live in Hamburg was released in 2004. Peddlin' Dreams followed in 2005. Her latest album, Late December was released in April 2007.
